Socrate+ is a modular system made up of the following packages/modules:- Financial – General Ledger and Financial Reporting, Treasury, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Budgets
- Commercial – Purchase (Purchase Requirements, Suppliers Orders, Purchasing, Import), Sales (Customers Orders, Sales, Export), Warehouses Logistics (cell management), Stock Logistics (multiple stock management methods), Sales, Deliveries and Purchase Planning, POS Integration
- Manufacturing - Structures, Product Configurations, Launching and Monitoring of Production (Manufacturing Orders)
- Integrations and extensions - integration with different devices and applications for retail, distribution, transport, and extensions like SocrateWeb, SocratePOS
- Strategic Management - Business Intelligence – OLAP, Reporting Services
Architecture
The system architecture is client-server, based on Microsoft technology.Socrate+ runs on Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 database where OLAP and Reporting services are very important for the analysis modules. The operating systems used on the client stations are Windows 2000, XP, Vista.
The transfer of data between working environments is done using the replication mechanism of SQL Server.
