Our Story
- BIT Software was established in 1993, and, from 1994 started the development of the ERP system Socrate
- 1996 - Socrate was launched on the Romanian market, the first customer being a spinning mill from Ghimbav
- 1996 - BIT Software became Microsoft Certified Partner
- 1997 - BIT Software joined the Dutch group Profuse Holding, which has today hundreds of customers and it’s the biggest ERP/CRM provider for the Benelux area, for SSA/BAAN system
- Together with Profuse, BIT Software started the development of a new IT Service management system - CCA (Competence Community Assistant)
- 1998 - was a pioneer in data replication on Microsoft technology in Romania, and in 1999 BIT Software was a pioneer in OLAP implementation: Business Intelligence
- 2000 - BIT Software is one of the first companies which provides a solution in ASP regime (CC Assistant)
- 2004 - BIT Software becomes Microsoft Gold Certified Partner
- Since 2004 - BIT Software is certified ISO 9001:2000
- 2005 - BIT Software becomes Compiere Certified Partner
- 2006 - joins the Oracle Partner Network
- 2006 - BIT Software becomes IBM partner
- 2006 - BIT Software launches in Romania the first integrated ERP/CRM open source – Socrateopen
- 2007 - SocrateOpen is implemented at the first customers in Romania
